hey guys i am new to the site and i just purchased a bone stock 1997 civic si it has the sohc vtec 72000 miles and an auto trans i am new to the civics and need help i sold my mustang and bought this car so i am used to a v8 i know that a good first mod would be a cat back exhaust system but what is a good brand and after the exhaust what should i do to the car next to get the most power other than just going to forced induction thank you for you help kyle

 

good job on getting rid of the domestic. now, for exhuast, magnaflow or vibrant are good exhaust systems, they have nice sounding systems. for my hp, simple I/H/E upgrades can get you a few HP, but nothing drastic.

 

a short throw shifterdoest give you hp but it helps alot
