I just bought a 2004 civic si ( ex in the usa). IT has 100k on it and drives awesome. I was looking for some performance numbers on this model/year.
anyone know 0-60? 1/4 mile? All I can say is what an improvement over my 1997 ford escort wagon lol!!!!!

Welcome! For a 04 Civic Canadian SI (US EX), you're looking at:
D17A2-VTEC * Found in:
o 2001-2005 Honda Civic EX (US only)
o 2001-2005 Honda Civic LX (Europe)
o 2001-2005 Honda Civic Si (Canada only)
o 2001-2005 Acura 1.7 EL (Canada only)
+ Displacement : 1,668 cc (101.8 cu in)
+ Bore and Stroke : 74.98 mm × 94.4 mm (2.952 in × 3.717 in)
+ Rod Length : 140MM
+ Rod/Stroke : 1.48
+ Compression : 9.9:1
+ Power : 127 hp (94.7 kW, 129 ps) @ 6300 rpm
+ Torque : 114 ft·lbf (15.8 kg/m, 155 Nm) @ 4800 rpm
+ RPM redline: 6800 rpm
+ Valvetrain : SOHC VTEC (4 valves per cylinder)
+ VTEC Switchover : 3200 rpm
+ Fuel Control : OBD-2 MPFI
0-60, I am not sure about. 1/4 miles times are probably around the 17-18's? That's a guess though.
Welcome to the forum!!!! Are you planning on modding the Civic at all? Is it 5spd, or auto?

at least you got IMO the best looking 7th gen civic
like cvc said, auto or stick?
And if you want some fun, relatively cheap(compared to other performance mods), but great sounding mods that do add a little power get yourself a SRI(short ram intake) and/or a new exhaust
quality intakes should run you about $150(aem, injen, secret weapon)
quality exhausts about $400(apexi ws2)
high flow cat converter about $100-$150(magnaflow)
And if you never plan on turbo'ing you can get a performance header that'll increase power, but you might not notice any audible difference, about $300(dc sports)
those are new ebay prices, if you buy locally expect to pay $50-$200 more per item.
youtube for sound references obviously
