Default Need help choosing car..

Okay, so I really want a Honda Civic, and I'm kinda nervous because everyone i work with tells me so much, like Si, D16, VTEC, and it's just fairly confusing. I would really appreciate any help: I'm looking for a civic that's pretty quick stock, that can drift good, and thats under 8000, and is a manual. Thanks.

you might be able to find a 99 si for under 8000 and you will not find a civic that drifts good. drifting if for rear wheel drive cars and civics are front wheel. but for 8000 you can find a pretty bad *** civic maybe mid/late 90's

lol Civic's are front wheel drive...they can't drift very well. But for the quick stock the Civic Si has the engine with the most hp stock. You MIGHT be able to find a 99-00 Sifor 8k but I'm not sure about that.

Okay, thanks so far. But is there anything i need to look for when buying one, like such as a bad timing belt or what..

Best thing you could do would be get a carfax report and have it inspected by your mechanic before you buy it. If you don't want to do that then at the very least look for leaks and stuff like that.
