sorry to bump this thread, but i recieved some good news. my budget for this project has been increased. i'm now thinking about either a b18c or h22a. if i remember correctly though, aren't h22's a pain in the *** to install on a civic? otherwise, will a b18 need a mount kit unlike a b16? lemme know. all else fails i'm going to get a b16a1 and turbo it

 

all B-series swaps in your car will be basically the same, and fairly straightforward.
H22 is a lot more work, but it's not impossible
