The official un-ricing of the Civ (or an attempt)
^ yea hopefully, i mean i've only had them on for a month or two, and this was the first time its rained hard all spring, it was humid as hell too, hopefully i'm good to go now
nice job on the de-ricing man
get the drop done and you will be well on your way. are you going for coilovers or how low are you going?? i am sure it says in here somewhere but i cant find it. if you are going for coilovers get as low as you can and see if the civic is still useable. itll look real nice with that front kit dead close to the ground (when it is real low a few pics would be nice). when you go for the drop i think you should loose the mud deflecters on the rear bumper. itll smooth up the look of the rear a lot and itll mean less catching on speed humps. but on the negitave side itll also mean avoiding more puddles and more cleaning. depends how carefully you want to drive.......

chit that was a long read all 19 pages...lol.
anyways man WOW it looks really good now i mean really nice Im glad you got rid of the vinlys on the side of the car to.
On a side note Like we all no the rear stut bolt on the bottom always sticks and usally snaps off, then you get pissed, and throw chit around...lol..... here what i do.
I use map gas, and a plumers tourch. you can get his at like Ace hardware. the map gas is like 12.00, and then depending on what turch you buy. around 20-25 for both
The map gas will not cut the bolt, but it will heat the chit outta it and turn it cherry red in about 3-4 minutes. you want to heat the side with out the head. have a friend with you to work a scoket and rachet, use 3/8ths drive nothing bigger.and do it sloooooowlllllyy, just little turns, be paetient ok and shell come out like budda..
And happy late B Day...[sm=bananallama.gif][sm=happybounce.gif][sm=groupwave.gif][sm=icon_cheers.gif][sm=partyparty.gif]
i like smileys...later bro

haha ^ thanks for the happy bday Hatch, yea the S-Techs install should be interesting on the LCA bolts because of the winters up here and all the salt they use [:'(]
and email i just got a set of Tein S-Techs lowering springs, no shocks for hte time being and no camber kit either, just a fairly mild 1.5" - 1.7" drop

jeeeeez i'm lazy, so woke up hung over as **** and instlaled the short shifter. The hardest part was hte little bolt holding the plate to the linkage, it was near impossible to hold hte top of the bolts in place, but we figued out an open-ended 12mm wrench works perfectly, so after an hour ofswearing, we gotthem out. The new **** tightens up my shift pattern ALOT and the shifts all feel much more solid, its awesome, they just snap into place and i barely even need to take my foot off the gas between shifts lolcouldnt be happier with it.
Heres pics of the linkage ou.t [:@] , and then the final setup

haha p.s. i know my interior is dirty, the passenger side of the cneter console has been stained like that since i got it and i really did just vacuum my entrie driver side like 2 days ago [:@]
yea its a short throw, i'm debating wether or not its installed backwrads or not, lol it feels awesome though, all my shifts feel really really solid and tight together (in a good way)
kept the short throw the way it is, still rattling, but shifting is awesome now
got my compression test done today, all the cylinders were at 115 (although the first cylinder took a little longer to get up there), the guy said a mild turbo kit with a T25 at 8 PSI should be just fine
Also, spring compressors are FINALLY on there way! lol now that summer is here and i got grad money i'm doing all the things i've needed to for MONTHS now
lol yea i'm lazy
Almost forgot, o2 simulator is on the way, i'm gonna do a DIY for the install of that, hopefully i do it right haha
