Default Possible to change a spedo from miles to km as well as odometer

Hey guys just wondering if its possible to do this. I live in Canada and I want to buy a Del Sol from the states more southern due to the condition. If I do this is it possible to change the odometer to KM and the Speed to Miles? If so what do I need to do. Thanks

yep simply plug and play for any 96-00 civic i know of... any others im not sure of personaly...

just buy a canadian gauge cluster and swap it in the US version. your speedo works perfect, but unless you want to pay some big bucks then your milage gauge will be wrong since your obviously replacing the cluster.

my 96 dx was from canada and in Km. and i just swaped in a 96-00 EX US cluster and it works perfect!

Definitely a direct swap; I needed a new cluster since my speedo was behaving erratically, waited until my next required service at a nice and easy to remember odo reading and put the new one in then.

If you're **** you can buy a used one with similar km/mileage to swap in. FWIW the connections on my original one went bad at 168K km.

It's a PITA but you can set the new odo to the correct mileage for your car with a tooth pick. Or you could just swap out your old odo into the new cluster.

I don't think that's possible in this situation. He's going from MPH to KPH, so if he swapped in his old odometer it would still count in Kilometers.

wel since he is in canada the title might not look to screwed up afterwards anyways.LOL

my US title is shot to hell! the car showed Kms but the title doesnt have a Km box... so it says my 96 has like 120K miles instead of Km.... one reason why im keeping the stock cluster and took pictures of the different odometer numbers when i swaped clusters...
just easier to explain to the buyer if i ever decide to sell it.... which i dont really plan on it but you never know. i sold my old 94civic that i planed on keeping. but it was in bad shape cosmetically!

I live in canada, but is it really that much cheaper especially with a .78 cent to their dollar exchange rate? You can find way better deals in Vancouver / Victoria then you would in the US. Remember you'll be paying their taxes and then ours at the border so unless you know how to play the system it's not really worth it.
