Default Should I buy it?

Hey HCF guys. I just sold my 2000 civic ex, and theres a guy not too far from me sellin a 1999 SI for 5000. It has a clean title. BUT, it has 187k miles on a rebuilt motor. The car is clean, and It comes with a ton of goodies including EP3 seats. I was planning on swapping in a low mileage b18c5 before the end of the year.

Does this sound like an ok deal? I've never bought a high mileage car before. Thanks for any advice!!

I'd go for it.. If it has many goodies like you claim, then why not? High mileage means nothing, if the car has been maintanced and things have been replaced when they need to be replaced. If stuff like the tranny, clutch, or stuff like that is bad. I wouldn't bother.

Those get stolen a LOT, so make sure there aren't much thieves where you live...

Yeah I think I might go for it. And I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, so I dont think I should have to worry about thieves. BUt just to be safe, I'll install a syringe poke button [:@] LOL

those are honda's baby miles, after a quarter of a million is when you're concerned.
