Stock Shifter..Need Help/Advice!

Default Stock Shifter..Need Help/Advice!

Well my civic I just recently bought, 97 ex coupe 5speed, has the original shifter and **** and all that...its very long and the throw is very far...its also very lose when in a gear...Any opinions on what I should do? Is a short shifter the way to go? THanks

Uh yea short throw is the way to go

yea get a short throw (the short throw shifter is actually longer than stock on most designs)

to keep it from being loose like you described, get polyurethane shifter bushings.
