Default Thinking about traiding my 2006lx...

Hey everyone!

I am do not wonna start any battles here, I was just curious. I drive a 2006 Civic LX manual, and recently I began thinking about trading it for something a tad more...hot blooded I guess. The obvious choice would be the same generation civic SI, but the price difference is kinda stopping me and I would like something with thinner A pillars.

Now, I like the looks of the 2005 si(the EP3 hatch), and the fact that I do not see them around often is cool too. I was wondering, would it worth to trade my 8th gen LX for the EP3? EP3 got about 20 more ponies but about 4 less mpg's(eats premium too). Is it a lot better handling? Fun to drive? I have not test driven one yet. Would anyone talk me in/out of this idea?

Thanks!

Oh, and I also like the interior quality of the EP3 more.

With gas prices on the rise mileage should be a priority in my thinking.

You gotta test drive a ep3..
I think the shifter placement feels amazing.
But I've also never driven a 8th Gen so idk how it compares lol
