Default Thought on Maxlife sythetic blend?

I changed my oil and tried this. Any thoughts on this oil?

So far Valvoline MaxLife blend is serving me well. I've noticed my starts, especially on the very cold mornings, have been smoother than that with dino and even Mobil 1. I usually hear some "clinking" for the first few seconds after I start the engine. If has almost complete subsided with the MaxLife.

I use MaxLife oil in every car I have owned for the last 8 years and so far im not having any issues with it, I used to have a 99 Neon R/T and I had to change the VC gasket. I did it at work and one of my co workers complimented on how clean under the VC looked.

i think its just a marketing ploy, oil is oil, not the synthetic vs. not, just about an oil for older vehicles.

I agree..Oil is oil...it may run a itty-bitty-tiny bit better but not so much that you would notice(not unless you have the ears of a dog & sensitive feel of a cat).
Anyone that they say they notices a difference...it's all in their head.
They want to really think that makes a difference since they spent that extra dollar..so they think any little bit of difference(even if it's something that don't have to do with the oil) is from using that kind of oil.

Sorry to get in-depth...but it's true...
