Paint Blend
so i remove the rear mud flaps of my car and to my dismay i'm left with a nice outline of it, apparently the bumper was repainted to match car and whoever did it was an idiot or lazy ha. my question is, how would i go about spray painting over where the flaps were to get a as close as possible blend or do i need to have the entire bumper painted?

you have a key on your keyboard, its above the shift key and below the tab key on the left hand side of the keyboard, called "caps lock".... you need to press it until you stop typing in big letters....
as for the non-faded paint, your best bet is to find the paint code on your drivers side door, and take it to a dealer, or car parts store, and try to find some touch up paint for it, unless the paint on the rest of the bumper is darker than this spot.... or you could try a good polish, buff & wax to try and bring the paints to matching colors
I'd give it a good clay bar, polish and wax and it would blend in pretty good to the best of my knowlege. You definetly shouldnt try to paint it yourself to match unless youve painted cars before (sucessfully)
i checked the serial numbers on the bumper to the car's and they dont match so the bumper was a different silver than the rest of the car (more metalic) could i still use the clay bar, polish, wax method?
