Default Thud, then vibration on 07 Civic

Hey all. I just bought a brand new 4 door sedan 2007 Civic DXO today. Drove it around for a while, then i wanted to let my girlfriend drive it for a little while. I proceeded to pull off the side of the road into some flat grass at about 2-4 mph so we could switch seats. Shortly after pulling into the grass(didnt bottom the car out or scrape the bottom as far as I know) we heard a thud followed by a vibration that lasted about 1 second altogether.

My knowledge of cars is very limited so please bare with me. Im taking a very WILD guess at this. Could it have been some sort of sound associated with a stabilization system??? The vibration sounded like someone pulled one of those door stop springs at the base of a wall and let it go. After that incident, car drove fine. I have never heard a sound like this ever in a car. One other thing i noticed today was a faint clicking sound when i made a sharp U-turn at a very slow speed. New car sounds??

This is by the way my first brand new vehicle purchase and I am a little paranoid for the time being. Thanks to anyone taking the time to read my post and reply to it.

It might have beeen a rock that the tires picked up in the grass.

maybe a piece of the plastic things on the bottom is touching your tires now... not sure what they're called, but yea, i used to hear that in a previous car, i just cut the plastic so it didn't touch it anymore because the place to snap it in wasn't there anymore.
