trouble with z6 head

Default trouble with z6 head

well i went to the junkyard 2day near me by shea stadium in NY and i could not find a d16z6 head, i plan to put this on my d15 block but am having major trouble finding it, would it be ok to buy the head off ebay??? and for what price also approx how much does the head weigh?

You oughtto be able to find one for just over $100. I have seen them for 100 shipped.

Rebuilt is good. Is that close to you? If it is you can save like 30-40 bucks on shipping. I guarantee that it will go for more than 100 though.

but wait a minute it doesnt include the acamshaft,rocker arms, vtec selenoids on top,rocker arms bolts, should i buy the head and buy the parts speretely or just buy the whole cylinder head with the internals

It looked pretty complete to me except for the cam gear. It doesn't say anything about not coming with all of that stuff. If you need a cam gear I will give you one.

i would appreaciate that, this may sound like a stupid question but does it look likke it includes the pistons?

Pistons are in the "bottom end." He said lower end, but it's the same thing, but no, a head doesn't come with pistons. You get those when you buy a block (usually).Why would you want the pistons?

oo i thought their suppose to come with the head, now i see their in the block rite?
