I'm sure you've been asked this same question a thousand times and I'm sorry..
lol, but I've never owned a Honda or any foreign car.. so.. be easy on me.

I've been looking at '97-'00 Honda Civic EX Coupes and Sedans for around 6-7k w/around 100k.

If I were to purchase one of these cars, what can I expect..
What are some general things that I should look for when test driving..
or any type of info to help me out.
I will be getting the car checked by a couple friends..
but I also want to hear some expertise from here.

try to get a car that has all of the service records with it. Check the usual stuff you would look for on any car like CV's and other rubber boots. Also check if the muffler is rusted through or not...
