I own a 04 Honda Civic EX and I have installed a AEM short intake system. And I've just heard so many different opinions on exhaust systems; they don't do anything or they do a lot basically. If I were to install a GReddy Evo2 catback system, how much horsepower can I expect to gain?

 

first off, you have to remember that it really does depend a lot on the individual car... but as a generic number, I'd say about 5hp for an exhaust.

their claims are accurate... to a certain extent. on heavily modified engines, like a - oh, RB26DETT, one would EASILY see those gains from just putting on a exhaust

however, if we come back to talking about civics, that is highly highly unlikely

dude when they mean 3-5hp they mean to the wheels. HP doesn't matter really. They could say 2million HP gain but only 5whp. Get what im saying bro?
