Default What to expect from my honda civic

Hello, I just bought my first honda civic. It is a 1995 honda civic si coupe. It has been turboed with a teckontik turbo kit, it has Coilovers, camber kits, carbon fiber hood, 2 step launch control, It has the b18b1 engine and has 220 thousand km, 5 speed manual. I've never owned a civic, or even a honda, or even a turbo car. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what I can expect for maintenance, reliability, preformence, tips, just really anything you can think of that will help me understand my civic more. Thanks

this is why you never buy a modified car because no one can answer those questions. the engine could blow in a week for all we know.

Used cars in stock condition are actually worth more because of all the unknowns of a modified one. Primary among those is why did the guy want to sell it?

He wanted to get something more practical and I actually traded him. I just wanted to know about the engine, the turbo, the model, just in general if they were reliable and if there were any tips about owning any of these.

Engine swapped out for a b18b1 engine, stock internals, running 7 pounds of boost, tuned by a place named options plus a pro tuning shop and the turbo kit I am not sure of but it is the teckontik brand.

B18b1 is out of an Integra. A very common swap to see in Civics. Can't tell you anything about the turbo since I have never heard of that brand before. 7 psi means nothing. 7psi through a McDs straw is ALOT less air than 7 psi through a garden hose. Get what I mean?

Contact the turbo company and get specs on it? I dunno what to tell you. This is the main reason why people don't buy modded cars. A lot of people do not properly document and/or install the parts.
