Default What to look for, what to avoid...?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd ask a quick question of the typical newbie type...

Basically this summer I'm planning on buying a Gen 6 Civic Coupe - from what I know a HX/EJ8

Now I'm not sure if I used the right model number, but most of you should get the idea. I've seen some for sale at around the 2k mark...is that a good target price and what should I look for and what should I avoid? The car should be able to be modified as and when I can afford to.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Col

uh welcome (how do you say your name?) - but anyway , 2k is a good price if you can find something with low miles - and make sure it has'nt been in any major accidents
