lol i thought i was the best driver too untill i tried to drift. I thought i knew what i was doing(3months with a license) and decided to go "drifting" day and ended up upside down. Go figure. So just be careful, you shouldnt be thinkging about drifting at such a young age. Do autox till you get pretty good then drift.

To tell you the truth, just the other day I was turning onto an onramp the other day (90º turn) at 30mph, put it in 3rd gear and punched the gas. I lost control of what seemed like all 4 wheels, but I just did what came naturally and followed through with the turn (while sliding). I ended up straightening out exactly at the end of the corner and the whole thing was flawless. If I had a video of it, you would have thought I was doing it on purpose. lol

And they sound like this when you drift them on stock suspension:

"VrroooooooOOOOMMMM EEEEEERRRCCHHHH *erp* *erp* *erp* *erp* *erp* EERRCCH vrooom!"

D**m wheel hop

But yeah, an all-out drift setup will be ridiculously low, have excessive negative camber up front, as well as excessive toe-out up front, and with a locking differential, it will generally be a terrible car to drive on a daily basis. I'd recommend something cheap but reliable for a daily driver and a cheap (*cough* 240sx, FC rx-7, MkIII supra, etc *cough*) car for drifting.

Also, since we're talking about stupid acts, I kick the back end out on the mustang around pretty much every turn, especially onramps. RWD > FWD

would either get a 240 or a 350z. two of my friends are in the drifting club and we all go out and watch what they do. more than half the cars are 350z and some 240s

hahaha thanks you guys for posting youve deff made me rethink about gettting a drifting car for my frist one. (ill w8 like 3-4 years before i start, i still want to get a feel for it you no?) i just had a friends brother die last night driving ( dont no the details) it made me snap into reality that i could get realy hurt or killed driving normly and i wanted to drift with not even a year of driving (not a good idea). as for drag racing ill do that at a drag strip. and im deff putting a role cage in my car ahaha.
