Default Who Runs Megan Racing?

Wondering what the general opinion of Megan Racing products is. I've seen a lot of suspension & exhaust parts available at prices that are 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of other players and it seems a little too good to be true.

Fwiw, I'm just looking at strut tower bars and the like, although I am curious about the longevity of their very affordable-looking headers, and wondering if anyone here has used them and/or had problems with cracking, as I haven't been able to find information about the thickness of the tubing.

Thanks.

They started out as a generic "ebay" company. Early Megan Racing products were hit and miss from what I hear. Some headers cracked in a year, some are still going strong. As far as I know, they've moved away from ebay and have their own web based store and such now so they've become more legit.

I can't speak from personal experience, just from what I've seen and read on the internet.

Still a knock off eBay company to me.

For things like strut bars and other pieces of metal like that, they are fine. I don't think I would be happy installing megan coilovers though.

I have their front/rear strut bar and front lower tie bar. As for "performance" parts I'd stick with what is know to be good. I have no experience with their other parts, but I know if I was looking for a header or exhaust it wouldn't be them just because of the known quality of other brands.

I think we're on the same page about that - figured I'd test the waters just in case.
Thanks for everyone's input.

i have been using there header for about three years but it was cheap and easily replaceable. i would never use anything suspension related made by megan.
