i had a rsx-s... im not to sure about the k20 beating the supra(stock) modded probably yes.. because they respond really good to mods.. all i had was Cai/test pipe/ and exhaust and i whooped up a couple of people. so yes maybe woth mods the eg or ek coiuld give it a run for its money... shoot my friend with a 240 killed a firebird with 400 hp..
Your car probably had a full interior as well, BIG difference between that and a stripped hatchback

Well it wouldn't in an rsx, but a stripped ek or eg hatch is a different story. They are very light. F=MA, less mass means faster acceleration. ( i know most of you knew that but i have the feeling many didn't). Thing is, that in those high speed runs as seen with the 400hp supra, as you get faster the acceleration is limited mostly by drag. Since the sum of the forces equals MA, as the frictional forces and drag forces surpass the power of the car, it doesn't matter how light the car is, it won't go any faster. This means that in an infinite amount of time, a 10,000 pound car with 300 hp would begin to outrun a 100 pound car with 295 hp given equal frictional forces and drag forces.( i know this isn't an actual possibility, just an exaggerated example explaining why the civic outruns a 400hp (insert car here) for a while, but that in the end, the higher power vehicle will eventually outrun it (given equal body profiles with the same amount of drag)

my brother drives a rsx-s with IHE, and it's definitely not something to toy with

they respond stupidly well to bolt ons with a good tune... you're talking stock 160 to the wheels

203 wheel horsepower with no tune.

that thing is definitely been built up some.

a k20a2 has roughly 200 horsepower at the crank straight from the factory. factor in the 10-12 percent efficiency loss at the wheels on a dyno and a stock k20 should make somewhere around 180 wheel horsepower.

not stock... it sounds like it has racing cams at the very least and it's vtec sounds like it comes on sooner, because the engine sounds like a buzzsaw.
A K20A has 220 hp

Nether is a 400hp TA, w/ the right tires and susp that’s no problem a low 12 sec car.
