so I had a CEL for the catalytic converter. I assumed it was the O2 sensor because it has 150k miles on it, was dirty as heck when I replaced the cat 6 months ago with a new magnaflow cat.

So I order a bosch O2 sensor and the light goes away when I start it up after. WTF over

anyone ever hear of anything like this?

Another thing, never buy expensive parts at autozone or any place like it. Autozone has to special order bosch O2 sensors and they wanted like $190 and $200 for the header and cat O2 sensor.

I go to those online car parts sites and ebay, same EXACT thing for $80 after shipping.

 

Ya I got my 02 sesors's off ebay. One of them has a volkswagen (VW) symbol on it, works fine.

 

i bought a Bosch O2 sensor for $50 at advance auto parts... OBD2 sucks.
