I love the suicide hood, lol. We hadto do the same thing on my 2000 DX when I wrecked it. Glad to see it coming together. Or, apart.

ya i want it on the road ASAP.LO L
i just ordered the new radiator support and bumper impact bar. HOPEFULLY they come before this weekend since im off this weekend and should have enough time to replace it.
i also swaped out the radiator AGAIN for anew one and this one doesnt leak at all and motor idles smooth. still alittle low at times but nothing to worry about.
also the radio is just siting in the dash. antena wire wasnt even pluged in! i notice pedals on the car are held on by a shoe lace, some small wire.LOL total crap!
i also razor bladed the rice stickers off yesterday.

That's a sweet vintage style hood! The civics from the 70's to '83 have hoods that open backward. Haha
I love the poorly spray painted DX trim that's peeling. Poor civic looks li ke it came from toys-r-us.
At least the damage doesn't look so bad when the panels are off.

ya the only damage i really have to straighten out is the passenger side inner fender ontop. other than that everything looks good and straight.

and before anyone says anything YES IT NEEDS A BATH! i bought some SIMPLE GREEN cleaner the other day i just need to get some bags from the closet to bag over the distributor and some brake cleaner for the wire terminals and then bag them as well and give it a deep cleaning! and after i get all the body panels replaced ill replace the timing belt and oil seals just incase. i have no idea where all that oil or dirt has came from but its all over the engine bay! i hope i can find any leaking seals so it wont get this dirty again! so far the driving ive been doing i havent had any problem. hopefully the idiots just changed the oil and didnt put the cap on and just never cleaned the engine bay.

gotta try to get some weld thru primer tomorrow and some silver paint. and tomorrow ill drill holes thru the new radiator support and weld it and smooth the welds over and paint over them for a original look.
so far its all good! the AC maybe the biggest PITA since its so tight i might have to pull the header to install the new condenser later on!
