Removing the steering wheel is just another layer of security of course! I don't plan on getting the lock QR set-up though. Duh.. I WILL be that cool guy walking around the grocery store with a steering wheel in my cart. People will just look at me like "WTF?!?!?!". Obviously, I am not the only person at my work who has one. lulz

I know of the existence of quick releases. I've never personally seen one. Never seen someone carry their wheel either lol. That's funny.

Tax time is coming up. New suspension is in my sights lol. Pretty curious to see what you all buy.

I plan on going with a complete NRG set-up since there are just wayyyyyyy too many choices. Sticking with one brand will ensure proper fitment. I don't plan on getting the lock system for it, but that may be something down the road for me to think about since it is a simply "add on" piece that doesnt replace anything.

This is the wheel I am looking at right now.

OR

Not too crazy about the CF on the first one Both are 320mm, or should I go for the 350mm wheel? I have no clue what stock is. This is uncharted territory for me

I too like the second one... It is more toned down. Plus the first one looks more like mine. :P

A complete kit has the wheel and hub. Additions are the quick release and locking hub? The trim ring in the middle is a nice touch, around the horn button.

Do you still have the old wheel?

I am leaning towards the second, too.

At the very least, you need a hub for your vehicle, and the steering wheel. The QR is an "add-on" part to help with security. The lock is another "add on" piece to the QR set-up and is installed where the steering wheel is when you have the wheel out of the car. It prevents other people walking up with their own steering wheel and QR set-up, popping it on your car and driving away.

Now, there are different sizes for hubs, QR set-ups, and wheels to suit where you want the wheel positioned.

If I am wrong about that in anyway, someone learn me on this.

Is that directed towards me?

Most likely you received a civic hatchback cat from year 1996.5. Guess how I found out about this mysterious half year when I don't know WTF their did, but it was one inch too short and clocked oddly with the exhaust manifold being 1" longer. I think that was an attempted fix to cracking EMs.

Nope. Pulled from a 94 GSR Integra hatchback. That's probably the reason for the incorrect fitment. Not sure what I plan on doing at the moment. I am more focused on getting the clutch system to stop leaking so the car can actually drive again haha.

New crush washers ordered. The ones which came with the clutch line are 1 mm thick, and the new ones are 1.5mm thick. Hoping that will help. They should be here this weekend if I am lucky.

You should get a Nardi Wood Grain wheel man haha. They look sick in white cars. Ive been eying one for a while with a quick release set up as well.
