Everything is back together at this point. Idle still surges, but not nearly as bad and stops as soon as the car begins to get warm.

Car is still not starting. Tested the ignition switch I just installed and we are good. Everything is clicking as it should, but I can only assume that the starter isn't getting enough power. Time to swap out the starter I guess. I am out of ideas and that is pretty much the only thing I haven't removed and replaced.

New clutch line I received is leaking at the MC; seller sent me a replacement and that leaked (slightly less) at the same place. The seller could only blame my CMC and the threads being damaged. Replacement Nissin CMC is on the way now and we will see what happens.

Not sure if I posted about it or not, but I tried installing the new cat. It is about 1" short and the flanges are not set up correctly. It would point the o2 sensor towards the ground and probably get ripped off within 5 miles. Ugh. One thing after another. i will probably just have a local shop weld something up for me since sedan cats are a PITA to locate and they are apparently different than 2dr Integras

For inspection do they look at your exhaust? You could do spark plug non foulers and make it think there's a working cat. My Evo was 3" turbo back, no cat at all, and I was still passing emissions

As long as I am not thrown CELs I should be fine. Not 100% sure though. Haven't dealt with obd2 testing in awhile.

More wire testing this weekend for the starting issue. Received the replacement CMC a few days ago. That should be going in, too!

New CMC is in since the seller for the line said my CMC must be bad some how if the lines are leaking after a complete replacement. Installed replacement, bench bled it, installed line. Within minutes all of the fluid leaked out at the SAME place. MOTHER ****ING **** SUCKER I HATE THIS CAR.

Good news. Took apart the starter today 100%, applied electric grease, bent the solenoid copper pieces down to make more contact with the starter, cleaned ALL grounds on the car, and the thing fires right up with no hesitation. Shut it off and started it over and over again and had zero problems. It is safe to say that the starting issue has been fixed for now. I still want to buy a new starter for it to have a back up just in case something happens in the future.

I plan on buying a few replacement crush washers locally to see if i can fix this CMC leaking issue prior to buying a whole new line etc.

Edit - Pulled out the JVC headunit - That will be going in the Civic since the stock Honda headunit is shot and I need some sort of music. Just sold a few parts, so I went ahead and bought a DD headunit install kit for the Teg.

I love hearing that a solution is found. I too have fixed my issues. Idle woes no more!

Congrats. I hope it motivates you to continue with your project. You better have some ideas now that you're much happier.

Thanks! I was about ready to give up it was getting so stressful. Too much money tied up in cars right now and I hate that. The Teg still needs a new cat, idle issue fixed, alignment, and probably lower ball joints to pass inspection, but this was a huge step in the right direction. Car has to start first

I have been working with the eBay seller for the leaking line and we are coming to an agreement. He already sent me a complete line for free, so I can't expect much else from him at this point unless I pay to send back the lines. Instead of paying the $15 to send them back, he is going to offer me a discount on a different style line that he has never had problems with before. We will see what happens I guess.

If the new crush washers solve this leaking issue, I will just sell off the lines for cheap.

When tax refund hits, I will be buying myself one "fun" thing. A steering wheel set up for the teg. I am already set on the NRG short hub. Noticed that there are about 584861891 choices for a quick release though. Any suggestions? Must be black, or black chrome. I figure $300 should be enough to cover it, so let's keep that budget in mind. I don't care if it is used if you know of anyone selling parts

Suggestions on steering wheel selection as there are 100's to choose from apparently. Of course, I want a black leather wheel, black stitching. Not a fan of colors

I've been wanting to get a quick release setup too, I just have more important things to spend the money on like going fast lol. I really do want to get rid of my air bag as I don't like where it is in my seats, pointing right at my face. Mainly I want a quick release so I can rock a steering wheel lock on it, less chance of it getting driven away. Can be that cool guy and carry my steering wheel everywhere too.
