Danomatic's Update Thread: Modifying the EJ1
i would probably leave the lettering painted now.... sanding off the paint can be tuff and polishing without hitting the painted area.....
thats why i sanded and polished my letters before i painted my old one. then alittle chapstick on the lettering and simply paint and then after its dry it simply flakes off with your finger nail to show that polished lettering.

use a wooden block with sandpaper wrapped around it and sand very slowly and carefully.
not to be so negative... but you forgot something...
the paint on the bolts and washers...
so your not done yet.... and those suck painting since you really need to paint them on the motor.... otherwise if you paint them and then put them on the paint will chip off. so best to put them on the motor and then paint em with everything taped off.
