Danomatic's Update Thread: Modifying the EJ1
I didn't plan in painting the bay, just a buff and polish. Nor do I plan on shaving the bay. I don't have a welder or a paint set up so she'll have to live the way she is.
i would at least clean up that door hinge area near the pillar. wire brush it good and use some paint over rust stuf all around the rusty area inside and out if you can, and then just get some white silicone to seal the hole...
I feel like I'm posting the same pictures over and over. Trust me they are slightly different each time.
Passenger's side is just about as done as it's going to be. Driver's side is almost done.

Poof... ...wiring is somewhat hidden on the Driver's side.

I FINALLY got around to getting the pesky steering rack Energy Suspension bushings in. The large round bushing was way to big to fit so I had to grind it down until I could just get it to fit. I had to burn out the other four bushings. In the process I burned my hand on the damn metal sleeve. That felt great.
