Hell yeah man. Loving the build.

Wonder how the EF9 front would look white. =P

Hows that ZC doing for ya? I was going to do the same swap, but saw yours. Can't copy ya. =P

I am all about the zc's. This would be my third one. Its quick...once i get a real transmission it will be fast. This one I got from Hmotors has not burned a single drop of oil, no leaks...runs great. Like I said I usually get 36--37 mpg on trips. not to shabby.

Best bang for your buck with that engine.

White ef9 front ends look sick. I love them.

The one password uses for all its pictures...amazing.

Trying to hunt down those fog lights but complete sets sell for about $450

anyways..

Got my dent removed at the body shop. 225 out the door. Hopefully will get it painted some time next week. Came out nice!

Hell yeah man, looks super nice in white.
I wanted a ZC really bad but just couldn't find one. I found a complete z6 for $200. HAD to grab it up. You still using your stock DX trans?

You've been nominated for ROTM. Check out that section to accept or decline.

(and don't worry about paint. A previous winner and some current nominees are in need of some. Its all about the build.)

My car was a base model. So it came with the d15b1 (yes b1..62 hp) and a 4 speed transmission .

I got a dx 5 speed at the Junkyard when I put my first zc in..and it was good. No grinds...

I found my current transmission on craigslist. Guy said it was a Si..and it was really hard to check being it was in his trunk at a 7-11 parking lot. Took his word. he through in a brand new exedy clutch.

Transmission leaks, grinds, and sounds terrible. And worst of all...it was a dx. I sold my DX the same day..

LAME.

Hopefully paint this week! we will see how my funds are working out tomorrow.

Couple of updates.

Got the front end fitted up a little better.

Took it to maaco today to see if they could do the paint. They pointed out every imperfection and tried to talk me into 600 dollars worth of body work. I wish I could afford it, but for now a ****ty scuff and spray paint job will have to do. Down the line I plan on getting a 3 stage done at another shop in town..but for now maaco will do.

I have spots that some minor dents will show, but not to worried about it. It will look good from 6 feet away. I plan on getting a CF hood soon, so why waist 300 dollars of body work on my hood?

I think I'm gunna drop it off tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get it back Wednesday before I have class.

My window regulator on the driver side has always been an issue. The metal in the door has cracked and the damn thing never gets aligned correctly. Been using vice grips as a handle for the past 2 years. To top it all off, the regulator rail popped out last week so my window is on the fritz. Hopefully when im back in fresno for thanksgiving I can stop by the junkyard and pick up some EX power windows out of a sedan and swap them in. Should be nice.

Got a call from the paint shop. Said they had a problem. Its 3 doors down from my work so I walked over. The guy said the paint didn't quite match. Took a look at it and to be honest it looks fine. Once I get the rest of the car washed and let it sit in the sun for a week it will be dead on.

All things considered, the paint came out really good. None of the dents really show and I am impressed with it. Can't wait to get it tomorrow and get my red pinstripe back on.

Pics up soon!
