no worries bud i have a reliable truck now just wishes and dreams of a EF sedan are all I was talkin about. Maybe some day further down the road but not now Thats crazy cheap tho! Up there in OK you can find em that cheap? Down here in the SA, TX area you wont find on under 4k :/ GAY I KNOW!

*Edit: Althought looking at pics of EF sedans makes me want one soooo bad ha

Fcking sexy! This guy went from this through like 5 other cars and ended up in a slammed, hellaflush ~91 hatch that was nice! (idr the year specifically.) But gorgeous *** cars for sure! I want this sedan though haha i deff have to have one as my project vehicular one day

Ef sedans are sick. I agree. I would one day like to have the whole EF lineup at my expense. Hatch, Crx, Wagovan and sedan. But that's just dreaming. I don't think I could handle having 4 cars that are all exactly the same to work on.

I have not got the red pinstripe on the front yet. Its usually dark by the time I get home and never remember to take it to work. Maybe tomorrow.

I was driving the car home this weekend from Fresno and all of a sudden a heard a loud clunk and then my car sounded like a dirt bike. I pulled off the road to check things out. I figured my spring bolts came off from my test pipe to down pipe, but they were there. Turns out an o2 bung came out. yesterday I managed to hunt down a bolt for it. 1985 Supra oil drain bolt 2.49 at kregan. So got that fixed. Then worked on the power window swap. Got my drivers side in and mostly working. The bolts didn't line up like they should have so I have some tweeking to do so it goes up like it should. It likes to stop about a 1/4" from the top. Project for tomorrow night.

Again, still trying to find a good time to get some pictures of her all done.

Well today was a semi productive day...not really though.

i have been having this odd idle problem where my car sinks to about 300 rpm every now and then at stop lights. It has been driving me nuts. So Today i decided to do some stuff.

I rewired my fan to how it should be (was previously wired to always on)
Bled the coolant system (probably still needs another go about)

My heater seems to actually work a little bit now, but my temp gauge drops down to the Cold line when I'm on the freeway. This confuses the hell out of me since the fan isn't even kicking on.

Idle problem is still there. I have a really detailed thread on honda-tech if anyone wants the full synopsis. Figured a project thread isn't the place for it.

Check your grounds around the thermo. Replace thermo. Mine use to read cold when I turned to the right. lol. Replaced it with another one and it fixed the problem. Best part - only costs $9. =)

Im thinking its the thermo. I already have one, just need the seal cause the fool at autozone gave me the wrong one. I just dont want to get water everywhere again..

Should do that this week some time. I drove it about 600 miles this past weekend and aside from it idling kind of bad, it does very good on the freeway.

Got a new headunit and new speakers too..installing those shortly....should be fun!

Well,

Installed my new stereo and FINALLY some front 6.5" speakers that I got for christmas.

Reason for the new headunit was that my "Dual" unit liked to skip on bumps..and the sound quality wasn't all that great.

I stepped up and got a Pioneer DEH-3200UB from best buy. I also got some sony XS-GT1626A 6.5 2 way speakers for the front. I haven't had front speakers for quite some time and let me tell you...what a difference!

I still need to get my bass levels dialed in, but the new head unit has a full equalizer as well as a sub equalizer built in. Pair that with my amps which have low pass filters as well as bass boost and what not, I think I should be able to get it tuned in pretty well. I have the gains on my amps set way way down and it still is too much bass for me. Good to know what my system can do.

anyways, here are some ****ty cellular phone pictures. All I got.

Figure I would throw an update out.

Pretty sure my head gasket is on the fritz. Been noticing a lot of smoke out the tail pipe and a pretty rough idle. Plan on doing a full tune up (timing belt, gaskets for days and what ever else comes up) when I get back from Denmark at the end of the month. My place of employment decided to fly me out there for a week. Should be fun.

Will also be getting the Skunk2 Pro-S II full coil overs, some blox LCA's and some other suspension goodies when I get back too.

I have also decided that I want to paint my car white next go around on paint. When I get a full paint job thinking chapionship white with a carbon fiber hood. I know its played out like nobody's business, you don't see to many chapionship white ef's..so who knows. Thats for the fall.
