Seatbelts are like $150 a piece from the dealership. You do not want to do that.

When I got my seat belts replaced (they were slowly retracting so the lifetime warranty on the belts allowed me to get it done for free), the invoice said it would have cost me $370 if it wasn't covered by the lifetime belt warranty. And remember, that's only 2 seat belts since I have a 2 seater.

You can probably find some on ebay though.

My butt hurts from just reading that. Looks like I've gotta hit up Honda Tech.

J/w what the plastic on the door does

And is the back seat just held in with bolts?

plastic keeps water that seeps into the door panels (that gets in when you roll down wet windows) from getting in the interior, and it serves as somewhat of a sound deadener.

It keeps road dirt and dust in the door and out of the cabin. Trust me, it works.

And yes, the seat bottom is ONE bolt (look at the pics and see between the seatbelt brackets, there's a hole off center? That's the one.) The side bolsters have just one on each side at the bottom and the back had one on each hinge on either side, then one in the middle on the shorter piece.

I ripped mine out a long time ago... I did a lot of work in my door panels between the power lock conversion and the component speakers and the plastic was brittle and ripping so I yanked it out.

I have a dreadful rattle inside my door panel that I cannot locate. I have tried everything.

Just thought i'd share that since we're talking about door panels.

Might be your door handle bar thing.....where it attaches to the handle mechanism. Just a thought
