Why thank you guys. I want to get Koni's but damn, 500 dollars is pushing it man. My idea is that I want something that will last me until June-July by then I'll be able to pull up some cash for the higher end mods.

No worries Scott, that's what we're here for right? We all could help with our projects.

I know it's been awhile since I posted an update so here it is.

-I took off the resonator on my intake just for sound purposes...I don't know, it sounds better IMO.

-Picked up these bad boys

Tokico Blues|Eibach Springs

-Picked up a drivers side sideskirt (the original one fell off) and a '99 rear bumper cover (going for a 99 EM1 look)

Woot!

**EDIT**

I also got my 99 tail lights, if I haven't already posted.

Why waste money on a frond end swap? unless your car is wrecked, what a waste of money. it doesnt even look that good hate the whole concept lol.

How much did you pay for the blues and springs?

^ I agree, I'm not a fan of the conversion. I like the 96-98 front end anyway. Waste of money to swap out all the parts and get them repainted. And if you do foglights, I think they look so much better with the 96-98 bumper (like mine). The foglights just don't look right or blend in with the little slots in the 99-00 front bumper.

But what kind of mileage was on the shocks/springs? I'm interested in what you paid too lol. Unless the price is real cheap I'm not to fond of buying used shocks or springs. Never know the mileage on them or what kind of beatings theyve taken.

i agree with them stick with your front bumper and save the money the conversion is not worth it unless its wrecked or if you really like it. stick some oem or oem style fogs in there and the front end would be sexy. look at scotts sig

dito for the front end swap, unless its wrecked OR you got someone that has a 96-98 and will buy your front end... not worth the swap.

tho i do like the newer front end style, IMO smoother headlights and i like the fogs better IMO at least... my old 96 was wrecked so it was a perfect time to update for me!

I paid 175 for the whole damper. 15k on them. Not blown, honestly I think I'm going to rock them till their blown out.

I personally think that the foglights work on a 99-00 front end, but then again, it's my opinion.

*EDIT*

I think that the 99-00 with the yellow foglights and Mugen lip is pure sex, once again, my opinion LOL.
