MiSTERXANDY's EJ8 Project.
From what I hear, Tokico Blues are just a tad bit better than the OEM shocks that are on the car. Skunk2's are a substantial upgrade but my friend with a boosted EJ8 with a K-Dub swap told me that Koni Yellows are the way to go. So, I was just wondering if anyone out there has any testimonials on either.
Reaper will be here shortly with pics of a certain civic he once owned, lowered on Koni's...... he will swear by them haha.
From everyone I have heard Konis are the best you can buy besides going custom basicly.

Good looking man. Aren't Konis cheaper than Skunk2s?
umm actually reaper was slammed on KYB AGX's
but he will tell ya to get koni yellows
i personally love my kyg agx's and suggest them unless youre gonna b completely slammed
how low r u gonna go?
and if u want reapers advice (which is pretty good) either pm him or make a post about your shocks in the suspension part of the forum (he doesnt read project threads lol)

Heck no, I wish they were.
Koni yellows: $539

Skunk2: $300

The reason I'm going with Skunk2's are the price
. I don't need adjustable shocks because I don't really care that much about feel a ton with this car. This isn't my track car either. So I figure I'll save the money, and that will go into my ls build. Suspension gets expensive real quick too. I got the skunk2 springs for like $110 brand new, shocks are $300, and then another $200 for Blox front and rear camber kits. So over $600, and that's just getting springsnot coils. And Skunk2 shocks are good, but they aren't the best.

You'll still have to buy springs and camber kits on top of that. If you get coilovers get ground control, everyone will tell you that. They are a lil over $300. And for cambers get Blox, basicaly Skunk2 without the price. So a fast 1k.
you dont need a camber kit
and if u wanna know why ask in ur other suspension thread and reaper will tell u (most likely in detail)
here a link actually- http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2614449
