From what I hear, Tokico Blues are just a tad bit better than the OEM shocks that are on the car. Skunk2's are a substantial upgrade but my friend with a boosted EJ8 with a K-Dub swap told me that Koni Yellows are the way to go. So, I was just wondering if anyone out there has any testimonials on either.

Reaper will be here shortly with pics of a certain civic he once owned, lowered on Koni's...... he will swear by them haha.

From everyone I have heard Konis are the best you can buy besides going custom basicly.

Good looking man. Aren't Konis cheaper than Skunk2s?

Heck no, I wish they were.

Koni yellows: $539

Skunk2: $300

The reason I'm going with Skunk2's are the price . I don't need adjustable shocks because I don't really care that much about feel a ton with this car. This isn't my track car either. So I figure I'll save the money, and that will go into my ls build. Suspension gets expensive real quick too. I got the skunk2 springs for like $110 brand new, shocks are $300, and then another $200 for Blox front and rear camber kits. So over $600, and that's just getting springsnot coils. And Skunk2 shocks are good, but they aren't the best.

Then I'm going to save for some Konis and go deal hunting.

You'll still have to buy springs and camber kits on top of that. If you get coilovers get ground control, everyone will tell you that. They are a lil over $300. And for cambers get Blox, basicaly Skunk2 without the price. So a fast 1k.

Wow hamor, that is the most useful thing I've read all week, thanks for that post :P. Only going to buy rear camber adjuster for mine once I lower it now, the $140 I save will go to pistons now lol.
