Scott's Ek Build: Shaved and Tucked
Idk if it'd be worth it for you for the price to ship it and everything, you can have it done in 5 minutes. This is the same disc I used http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-3M-Multi-Lay...item4838cda13b. I get valve covers from my local junk yard for like $25, so I have the spares. Grindin it down with that disc, you'll be done in a matter of minutes. Then it is just sanding and filling any divots. Once it's on we will see how that Quiksteel holds up.
Well I'm thinking about ordering some rear spats from a guy off ebay that makes fiberglass ones. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-...14121006r28157 Everyone puts rear lips on but you never see them, even though they aren't legit they are still pretty damn cool and uncommon. I ordered all new tree snaps and interior clips so I get to pull my interior and put it all back on, I broke like 1/2 the clips so once these are in, no more rattling. Sidemarkers will most likely be going in on Monday since I have no school. And I think I might have an exhaust leak at the axle. When I put my exhaust on I didn't use those crappy gaskets and just putted RTV on the flanges and bolted em up. When I'm driving it is a high pitch noise that the tone peaks out at about 3.5k rpm, it is wierd. I've got a noisy *** motor too, I need to lash my valves soon too, chattering a lot. Going to put the scan tool on my car in school too to see what my compression is at.

Thanks for the ebay link. Ill have to see if I can get one of them there fancy, shmancy grinders.
The spats are nice. I would have gotten, but the replicas are too expensive for me. If you want them, get them!

Well today I put in my sidemarkers, went pretty smoothly. No major set backs, turned out good. I just need to realign my fenders one of these days, and there's a little bit of waviness where the marker is in, but idc enough to fix it. And mysteriously I got some scratches on my passenger fender, they can probably be buffed out. Enough talk, here's pics.

Well I'm sick of breaking and looking at rusty bolts, so I bought some stainless steel bolts/washers today. Put them on everywhere I could see with the hood open, eventually I'll take side skirts off and replace the fender bolts there and drill out the one fender bolt that broke. But for now I'm happy, nice and shiney! Little pricey for all the bolts, but oh well, I don't really need pwjdm set of washer/bolts.
Also did a compression test on my car in school today. Came up 180 175 180 180, YAY. Good compression, wanted to make sure my motor is strong. If the compression was lower that would have eliminated boost immediately, but it is still in the race. Here's some pics of the bolts and another pic of the sidemarkers because they are awesome.
