Finished the silly d15 valve cover. Had the thing ready for paint and he asked me to shave a bunch of stuff off, so I said it'd cost more to shave more but he didn't want to pay the extra so I shaved off the ground for free which sucked. But it is done and gold, giving it back to him tomorrow. Spark plug seals just need to go in!

And my next plan is to take another valve cover and shave it and going to paint this one real cool. I started shaving the y8 cover but I don't think I'm going to use this one, too much ground stuff to remove so I am going to destroy my z6 vtec valve cover, completely shave every line off it, and paint it Spoon style! I love Spoon and I'm going to be buyin some of their stuff to throw on my car, and their colors are baller. So I will do the valve cover half yellow half blue with the zig zag splitting the colors diagonaly. I think it'll look pretty sweet. Here's the y8 shaved and an example of the colors for those of you who are useless if you don't know Spoon's colors:

If it is someone else, let them go for it. It's money in your pocket if you are doing the painting/shaving.

Sold the D15 today, $60 woop. Didn't spend a penny on paint either.

And I love people who are desperate for money. Guy texted me today saying he doesn't have a job and needs money so he sold me an H22 valve cover for $20. Thing is pretty clean, it'll be even better when I am finished. I could turn around and sell it right now for easy $40+. I might just paint it high gloss black and polish the letters and sell it.

Hmm, how much you think I could sell it for? If I do the high gloss I'd probably throw it on craigs for $60, shaved and black what do you think it'd be worth on ebay?

 

im gunna talk to my sisters boyfriend about that h22 cover hey may want it for his civic if you were to shave it. i'll find out

 

I've said it before, I can't take money in from paypal right now, I use my dasd and it is set up to a credit card. But I turn 18 in a week so I'll probably just make my own and set it to a bank account.
