Shave the D and C off so it says OH VTEC. It's what all the cool kids are doing.

Well today is my 18th birthday . Going to be getting a debit/credit car in a few weeks so I'll be ordering stuff online hardcore which will get this moving again. Be ordering things from tow hooks to subframe brace and I plan on swapping this summer, so once I pick up an engine I want to rebuild it, mainly piston rings since I want a gsr which will have been beaten.

I shaved another d16 valve cover, this one is my best yet. I fully shaved every line and bump on the valve cover, it is cleaner than your girlfriend. Still contemplating on filling in the lower corner that holds the spark plug wire holder, opinions? This one might be for me or might be something I'm going to sell, so idk.

P.S. When I get my debit card I have to put it to a checking account obviously, and I'm going to set up a paypal to my checking too. so I WILL be able to recieve money, once this is up I'll let you guys know, since I know cv and some other people were interested in me doing valve covers and stuff.

I also got a new rear bumper, pulled it off a sedan at the junk yard. Was going to Certifit a new rear bumper but I'd rather have oem so I picked it up for $60, going to be some fun wetsanding all the paint off so it is back to black and I'll put it on.

You plan on replacing other things as well, right?

Yes, fill it in. Also, shave off/fill in the breather hole, too. Then sell it to me.

You'd have to have an fittings welded in then if you filled the breather. And fill the corner, this thing would look baller. Too bad I can't tig weld for my sh*t or else I'd do it lol.

And when I rebuild the gsr I will do more than just rings, but the rings are the main reason I want to do it. I don't want to swap and have it smoking like a sob, there's no way I'm going to get a jdm motor so it'll be something someone here has already beat on. So I'd do like rings, seals, bearings, thinner hg, t belt, all the necessary stuff. Building it would be down the road.

Exactly.

Like I said, fill everything in (including the ground wire hole in the bottom corner too) and sell it to me! LOL I will worry about the AN fittings. I have a spare y8 VC I can send ya as a core, too! As long as the price isn't too crazy, I will go ahead and do it!

Put the spark plug holder on it and THEN shave it. Keep the holder but make it permanent. Fill in and shave all around it.

That's a really cool idea, I don't mind the wires hanging because they still have little holders on it, but that is still pretty smart.

And yea cv I'll try to get on paypal and stuff asap, but it will prolly be a few weeks. Between school being almost done and my graduation and graduation party it'll be a matter of getting to the bank and waiting the time for them to set up my new checking and stuff.

I won't charge a crazy high price, I don't really plan on diong this on here as a huge profit. This is a smaller forum of all the same people on and I'm not here to make a big profit or anything on this forum, just a bunch of friends. So if anything I'd charge you a lil bit for my time, maybe a lil for sandpaper, and a cost on the valve cover and that's it. Now if it were on HT... I'd be charging *****. Since schools almost over I need to take this into school and sandblast it again so that whatever paint will adhere better instead of the smoothely sanded parts.

Ugh I'm in tough decision right now. Found a set of Rota c10s, my favorite Rotas. Guy has em up for $350, I offered $250, he said no, so I could probably get them for $300. But they need tires, and I'd be spending voer $300 on tires. I don't know if it is worth it, can't decide. They are bronze, and I'd probably cheap out on a set of tires for $300.
