Well I went to the junk yard today, wasn't many civics so I didn't get much. I did grab a z6 valve cover, I'll take my times painting this one and I have some dif plans fpr ot. Also there was a crx si, they had for wholesale, I didn't know that til after I looked. The crx was clean as hell besides the rust, I pulled the center counsel apart cause the skunk2 short shifter set caught my eye. I took the skunk2 **** off and went inside and asked if they'd pull the shifter and linkage for me and they said those cars aren't for parting out and I shouldn't do anything to them... kept the **** though. I'm sure they'll be pissed to see the center counsel ripped out and the linkage boot covers torn but oh well, shoulda had signs to leave those cars alone! Getting the actual short shifter would've been nice but oh well. Was a decent day at the yard, really snowy and icey though, just not enough civics there.

Finished my tow hook today! It is cut to where it needs to be, fits awesome. All that's left is a little bit of sanding on a spot to straighten the spot out and paint. Should be done painted by the weekend, purple ftw! Here's some pics of it on the car, I may be making a front hook soon. 1/2" 3 grade bolt up front to take all the stress, and the rear 5/16" bolt is in the back to keep it straight. 3 grade should hold the weight of my car.

That's a possibility, takes me about 2-3 hours to mill it and band saw and sand it down. It should have no problem towing the car since it is 1/4" steel, I'll try it out before I paint it. Only big difference between mine and a real one is steel/alluminum and they have a fancy line milled out the arm. I could do that if I really wanted but I'm too lazy haha. Front one should be made next week before xmas break, it'll be sweet.
