Thanks everyone, I'm excited to be close to having it done to. It is far from what I had in my head, but it'll still look good regardless. If I really was set on keeping the car I would've done a lot more, and would've put out a lot more money. But I can't justify putting tons of money in a car I never truely loved, I pretty much kept this car because I paid so much for it I didn't want to sell it.

So I am going to look for a Del Sol next, preferably white but I will settle for black. Slam it, obnoxious color wheels, and I am happy. I will only buy an Si or vtec, vtec's are expensive and hard to find though so it'll probably end up being an si. Odds are I'll swap it, really want to do an H22, one of my big regrets is selling the jdm H22 I had with the stage 2 stuff in the head (like 15 pages ago lol), so I really want to get another one and do it.

And for the welder - held up really good. The high or low setting thing can get annoying since it is either not really penetrating a ton or blasting through. But the wire that comes with it is total trash, just spatters. Don't even put it in the machine, go to Home Depot and buy a roll of Lincoln wire, only like $12 (same as what Harbor Freight charges for their trash LOL). It welds up really good with that wire. For the price it is a good welder, I want to buy a good mig next. And once I am done with school I am taking tig classes so I'll be buying on eventually too.

You know, there isn't really that much of a difference between a Del Sol S or an Si, besides the stock motor of course. Mine still has power windows and all that. I'm curious why you will only buy one of them... I mean if I had a choice, I would too. But since I'm gonna swap it, I don't mind at all.

I don't want the d15 since it wouldn't be an instant swap over and the s are drums and I don't feel like doing a disc swap lol. I plan on doing a big brake setup in the rear using some stock parts too.

Spoiler is sitting on my room, still electric blue. Since I'm selling the car it probably isn't going on, but I am going to have my front and rear bumpers painted so I might just have the spoiler done.

Progress is being made! I was worried yesterday that I was going to get f'ed with paint since the primer I used wasn't drying... it is mid April and it is 35-40 degrees and we had snow the other day... wtf. So I thought it was the cold temps holding the primer back, so today I laid down different primer I had. The first kind was really dark so I knew I had to put the light primer over it anyway. Well it dried really fast, within like 20 minutes. So I used the can up on the car and once it dried started on the gold. I am actually pretty close to staying on my schedule.

The shave itself kinda sucks, I got kinda lazy nd the fronts of the shock towers look like total ****, not even kidding. But whatever, I'm not making a big deal out of it, the tops of the towers look absoultely perfect though. Because the fronts of the towers looked bad I was thinking of painting dark grey to kinda cover it up, but decided I was just going to try the gold. I painted one shock tower and saw how awesome the gold looked and just went at it. It looks SICK! More has been paiunted since the picture, I took the first coats really light. Going to get another can tomorrow and another can of clear, should have the paint all done tomorrow night! Thursday will be putting everything back in such as interior and brake master/booster and bleeding it and what not! Looks like it might be ready this Saturday!

And my motor is so patiently waiting!

Here's a better pic, after I sprayed a few more coats on.

MOAR PROGRESS! Getting work done son. Bay is done, painted and done. Knocked it out in 2 days, why? Because I am awesome. Had a scare, went to buy another can of gold from Walmart where I got it like 4 monthes ago, and they didn't have it. Ended up going to a hardware store and having to match it up, same color, changed the can, idiots. But the bay looks SICK, once I started spraying clear it made such a difference. I am going to be really pissed if this bay looks super amazing (which it kind of already does) and I have a change of heart and keep the car lol.

So yea, bay is all painted. I started bolting stuff back on... fuel filter, prop valve, brake booster, slave resivoir, etc. I even put my Password:JDM sock over my resivoir (I'm fancy like that).I am off of work tomorrow, so basicaly tomorrow will be getting everything in besides the motor. Interior will go back in, cut the hole for the engine harness, battery, fuse box, brake master in and bleed the brakes, fit the charcoal canister and rad overflow, and anything else that needs to be done. Saturday motor goes back in, and hopefully starts.

Finishing up painting:

And after I installed the booster and stuff:

OEM fluids yo! All Honda fluids, work discount ftw!
