Eh I'd rather not dump the money in to my car like that... yet. I'd rather spend more money on more Snap On haha.

Alright haven't updated in a while. I am planning on having my car done in one week. I cut a lot of stuff out of the plan overall, and only did a partial shave, but that is because as you all know I am going to sell it. SO here's my update and plan for the rest.

Changes:
-Battery is not getting relocated, waste of $100 when I am selling it (fuse box is still relocated)
-Motor mount inserts

What I've done since the last time I updated this!
-Pressed in 2 brand new wheel bearings up front (Duralast, 1 year warranty, Duralast sucks but not my problem)
-Brand new oem brake pads up front, I cut the rotors at work
-Installed slim fan on radiator (need to figure out which way is to run the blades as a push, not pull)
-Transmission is all back. My old input shaft bearings was in the edge of exploding, all the techs at work (many have been in the business for 25+ years) said they've never seen on that bad because they are usually blown up by then and only come in to the shop after they blow.
-Painted the trans, had to buy a special washer from work for the 3-4th gear shift fork detent ball and I bought new dowel pins for the engine to trans.
-Welded up the rest of the holes I wanted to, basicaly the upper radiator support and the tops of the shock towers are what got shaved.
-Layed down filler, just needs to be sanded back
-Started primering what I could, need to buy a few cans of brake clean to get the fire wall ready for paint
-Motor mount inserts are in.

I got the motor mount inserts today from Prothane. I expected them to get just polyurethane, nope, they are solid haha. Defintely going to tighten up the mounts and some added vibration. But this way I don't have to figure out a way to fix the torque mounts I messed up, and it'll look a lot cleaner.

And my week plan:
Sunday 4/17
-I work all afternoon so I want to have the filler sanded back and primered
Monday 4/18
-Primer, sand it some, primer more, sand, primer
Tuesday 4/19
-Spray gold on
-Figure out where I am going to run my wire harness through the firewall and begin putting interior back in
Wednesday 4/20 (LOL... 4/20)
-Clear coat... a TON, nice and glossy and some protection
-Keep going with the interior and getting it buttoned up
Thursday 4/21
-Put the flywheel and clutch back on... bolt tranny back to engine, get it ready to go in
-Anything left to put in the interior
-Get the charcoal canister attached where I want it abd rad overflow
-Set a decent alignment, mainly my camber. Toe should be fine, didn't mess with my tie rod ends.
-Get things ready to go in
Friday 4/22
-I work both jobs aka busy all day
Saturday 4/23
-Friends are coming over and dropping the motor in.
-Hope it starts haha, timing is spot on, t belt is tensioned tight, head studs are torqued, should (key word SHOULD) start no problem
-Obvsiouly fill trans and engine oil and power steering and coolant and what not
Sunday 4/24
-Hopefully drive her to work! It'll be great if I can haha.

I am on spring break all this week, but I am working full time for the week at Acura so its not like I'll be doing this all day every day, then it'd be done a lot quicker. But I told everyone at school I'd have my car after spring break so hopefully I am not lieing to them ha.

Here's some pics.

Prothane motor mount inserts. Glad it came with insert for the stupid hydro fluid mount, these defintely stiffened up the mounts A TON. Aftermarket motor ounts are pretty much useless unless you are swapping or for total looks, these are perfect.

My trans looking fresh as f*ck. Stock clutch is going back in but I used the throwout bearing from the Competition Clutch kit since the old one didn't sound too well, might as well replace it while it is in the open.

Slim fan!

Primer in process. (the paint on the suframe will come off, it is sitting on a thick coating of trans fluid from when mine leaked lol)

I will keep this updated throughout the week!

Yup want it done, be able to enjoy the mpg and driving it. Do an alignment on it at work, throw on si springs and stock struts, take off the Beaks bar, and Blox upper control arms and put stocks back on, paint the bumpers, and sell it!
