I will mail them out this week for sure, keep forgetting/being lazy.

And I wanted to sell my car for a while, was going to try last year, but couldn't get past the amount of money I have in to it. Which is why I am going to pull all my suspension off. I have like $1200+ worth of suspension (new prices), which really doesn't increase the value of my car much. I still have my stock upper control arms, and a set of 4 struts/springs will be easy to find. I will leave the Blox lca since the bushings are kinda messed up and I don't want to hunt down oem lca's. The Beaks bar will be sold as well as the Blox upper control arms. The front KYB AGX will transfer over, the rears aren't compatible ($200 for new ones) and I'll just sell the ek rears, and the Ground Controls will swap over as well. I will probably even take out the b&m shorty because I love it so much. I want to set this car as close to stock as possible, make it easier to sell.

What will go with the car:
-the shaved/tucked bay
-DX tranny with brand new bearings
-ARP headstuds
-all new oem gaskets
-painted engine block
-fresh alignment done by yours truely
-stock suspension
-Blox lca
-ebay strut bars
-DC header
-GReddy Evo2 will stay on
-Cheap ebay filter
-The whole Energy master kit
-Competition Stage 2 clutch
-Brand new brakes
-Relocated battery
-101k on the car

I think I could get 3500-4k for it, probably should get the bumpers painted if I hope to get the 4k range with it.

^ yea the paint would help I'm sure...and you always say theres a big EK market around you so you shouldn't have a problem selling your car. $4k might be a lil high but who knows...and no worries about the stickers, I just wanna make sure you don't forget

I know 4k is kind of high but a full wire harness and shaved bay isn't super common around here, so I am hoping that some kids in high school or some **** see it as an oppourtunity to one up their friends at school or something, I don't know. I just hope the shave will benefit it since a lot of people are scared to do it and they'd rather buy one already done, we will see.

To give the most un-biased opinion i can, I like my del sol more than any other honda I've owned or drove. I like that the seats are low, the center console is high, making you feel like the whole car is wrapped around you instead of feeling like you're driving a semi. Who else can forget the targa top, I havent got to make much use of mine but in the summer it will be great. I say go for it. Theres not much to not like about them. But that's just my opinion.

Okay update time.

First off I went and ordered some Duralast wheel bearings from Autozone, they had to order them. They are like $15 then Timkens and 1 year warranty, seeing as I am selling the car I don't care if they take a dump, not my problem. BUT I took the knuckle to school and pressed the bearing out, go to put in the new one, doesn't fit. Apparently whether you have abs or not, you get an abs wheel bearing. So the right ones have been ordered (I'm doing both) and should be here tomorrow, I'll get it like Saturday and put it in Monday. Then I just need to pull the other hub and do tha bearing. Then I am officially done with suspension.

K motor time. I have the motor just about done.

Took the head to school to straight edge it and check for warpage. When I took the head off I was an idiot and didn't think about what I was doing and took the head bolts out straight in a line, completely disregarding the whole torque procedure. SO I was worried about it being warped.

So I used the yellow roloc fingerlike pad and cleaned up the head and did some measurements. Honda says a head must be within .002... so it was fine for the most part, feeler gauge didn't slip through at all... except for between cylinders 2 and 3. It was a little sketchy. Only sometimes it would slip through, it would eb about .003 or .0035, so .001ish difference there. But it didn't always go through, so I'm not sure on whether it really is "warped". Regardless, they small difference wasn't enough for me to justify getting it milled.

So I put the arp head studs in, head on, torqued it all down. I put on the timing belt today and got in tensioned and everything. Painted the timing belt covers black and put them back on. I also began putting the intake manifold on, it is torqued down and got the fuel rail and what not on. Also have the crank pulley torqued too. Need to get an o ring from work for my fpr tomorrow and that'll all be on. I'm going to hook up my harness and then the engine will be done and ready. All it will need is the flywheel and clutch put in. I also lightly sanded the flywheel and pressure plate to give it a fresher surface for when they go back in. The flywheel surface is fine, no hot spots or anything so I'm not having it machined either. I plan on keeping the clutch just in case I end up getting an Del Sol si, going to look real hard for a vtec but I'll sink down to the level of a single cam again lol. I also did my valve lash, they weren't off TOO much, but were bigger than I would've liked. So I got the lash perfect. .020 mm intake, .025 mm exhaust.

Transmission is getting done next week.

Engine bay will be done next week. Seeing as the motor is pretty much ready and everythings torqued, all that is holding me back is the engine bay. So I am going to bust my *** and try to get it done and ready.

I am going to order my battery relocation kit within a few days as well as motor mount inserts, that way I don't have to run torque mounts.

Here's the ARP's in and the hg on:

And head on, I think I was lubing up all the threads and nuts and washers at this point, don't remember:

And head on and started bolting the intake manifold on and stuff:

And I had the timing belt on and tensioned already at this point. Painted the covers, put brackets on, torqued everything, blah blah blah:

And the other side, I love how good the motor looks!

And t3h back side:

ANDDD what I want to do when I get a Sol:
White del Sol, preferably vtec (b16a3)
Slam it
Low offset wheels, takata green
Roll cage
Set of Bride's or something
And that's all it'd take to make me happy.
