So did you just use like a propane torch and heat up the bolts and then go at it with a breaker bar?

You cant use a breaker bar. There would be nothing that the socket can go on. The bolt head would snap off.

I used a MAP torch. Burns a little hotter than propane.

So the bolt holding the shock to stock LCA will most likely snap off is what you are saying?

Yes. So basically, you will be left with a bolt sitting in there, sticking out the backside (opposite from where the bolt head is). You'll have to heat the bushing, then slowly turn it out from the backside.

On the other hand, you could be lucky and have none seize. You won't know until you actually do it. Im going to get my oem LCA that's in my shed and take a picture of what I am talking about. The strut is still on it since the bolt seized. I didn't care since I had new LCAs/bolts/coilovers to install. I actually kinda forgot about it until now actually. Going to install my tail lights now and take a picture of the LCA bolt for ya.

Okay, well this sucks, have me worried to do this now lol. If it locks up and I have to pull the bushing, I don't have new bushings on hand to have them pressed in if the stock ones get destroyed.

I'm not trying to scare you out of doing it, just making sure you are prepared for the worst. This is why I had replacement LCAs and bolts.

good luck even doing that. ^ thats how my bro's was and you can sit there and pound on the bolt with a sledgehammer and it wont move. Even with spraying tons of pb on it and everything.

I got em on my 98 hatch and they look good on mine yah but for what ur doing theyd look cheap. Look into somethin like these and paint em gold. Theyd look sick with ur purple, gold, and green theme ur gonna have going.http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforu...2665885904.jpg
Dont have to be these exact ones but somethin kinda like em would be sick!

Kenny - I am trying to get my friend to sell me his drag dr29s, they are sexy. I wanted to get HXs but I think they look too small on eks.

With the LCA, I'm hoping that the bolt will get siezed on the nut then. I don't plan on swapping new LCAs in so I can't afford to have the bushing ruined. I'm spraying the bolts for the trailing arm, shock fork, UCA, and LCA bolts every day with PB buster every day until we actually do it. Hopefully it does something.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. It's a bolt that looks like this:

If the bolt seizes, the bolt head will snap off...that's it. You have to heat it up from the other side, and once it is a orangey-red color, take a wrench and slowly turn it out from the opposite side.
