Alright I got this motor looking sexy! From the last pics to these it is night and day. Only have a few things left to clean up on the motor then it is just waiting for stuff to show up. Here's the update on the condition of the motors looks, not gaskets and **** like that.

What's left:
-Thermostat housing and that whole chunk of stuff
-Might clean up the vtec solenoid
-Throttle body
-Painting fuel rail and throttle cable bracket black - a little contrast until I go aftermarket

What's done:
-Head and block completely painted aluminum color
-Cleaned entire intake manifold, a little deburring inside it, and painted and clear coated... looks AWESOME.
-I went polishing CRAZY...
Polished the dizzy a little bit, it is a dull polish which looks good
Polished all the valve cover nuts
Polished the head of all the bolts I have sitting around

Just ordered my radiator too, $69 shipped ftw!

I got the motor mounts from CVC today and cleaned those up and use some Mother's mag polish I have (which is the GREATEST stuff ever) and cleaned em up, super shiney now. Misc. stuff also arrived, got my Blox tps and the OEM rear t bracket today. Picture time. ENJOY!

Intake manifold in its pure sexiness!

I think I might keep the valve cover red, really digging how it looks. Just worried I might have too many colors going on- green car, purple wheels, red valve cover, gold bay lol

And the dull polish that I like

I really want a carbon fiber spark plug cover

And the nice motor mounts... glad I didn't buy them new when I was putting my car back together few monthes ago!

That got moved back on my priorities lol. b16 first, tires second, paint third. I really think I am going to do an Acura el front end conversion next year or something. I'd he probably the only one in the Midwest, looks really cool and different, and isn't too expensive. A mint front end is only like 700 and goes right on.

Got more work done on the B16. Wire wheels the thermostat housing, HondaBonded it back shut, put in my new Coolant temp sensor. Literaly the only thing I have left to clean up is the vtec solenoid. I painted my fuel rail and throttle cable bracket gloss black, looks super good against the intake manifold. I will get some pictures tomorrow after I finish up the vtec solenoid. My timing belt and stuff gets in from work tomorrow so I will get that stuff done. Still waiting on the guy with the tranny, saw him at the King dyno and bbq day and he had his CRX that has it in it there and said he was thinking about it. He ran his Prelude on the dyno, on street slicks and 13 psi he made 398 hp... first two runs at 11 psi he was spinning tires on the dyno only making 320 lol so I think it is still underrated. Once again at the show I got a lot of attention. I really want to et this B16 in. It looks so flawless with everything painted and cleaned up, going to look so gooooooooood.

Just got a set of white HX rims today, got them from a friend for my old ek seats and $50. They were on craigslist within hours, hopefully I can sell them for some decent money. One riim's lip was pushed in pretty bad to the point where it caused stress cracks, but still holds air. Not my problem.

And also I'm so in to the Acura El front end right now. Talking to someone at work they said they have seen only one once and it was one that came in to our dealership. So once I recuperate some money I am going to begin sourcing front end pieces. I have never seen any in person, friend of mine said he has seen it at IA before, but there's none that I know of in the Midwest.

Here's an ek hatch with the front end, so cool!

I say go for it but I wouldn't be against you keeping the stock front end...

Eh I want something different and I love how it looks.

Hx rims are being sold tomorrow already lol, making a nice profit on them.

Here's some motor updates...
OEM parts come tomorrow now, had some shipping problems or something. So I am going to do the t belt and what not tomorrow. My SpeedFactory thermal intake manifold gasket came today, really nice piece. Highly recommend to those who don't want to spend all the money on a Hondata or something.

Here's pics.

Rail glossy black, going to paint the injectors gloss black too- the rusty color is working too well for them lol.

The whole motor:

Dull polished dizzy and vtec solenoid:

Tucked oil dipstick:

And my hx wheels that I had for one day lol:

He's looking at them tomorrow and giving me a down payment of $50 to hold them assuming he wants them... and told him I want $175 total. A good set goes for like $250 around here... really all they are worth are 3 rims and tires. The 1 rim is toast and one tires bad.
