Yea, that's true about the turbo/test pipe. I still have to check it to see if the cat is bad... after working on the car all day with that damn carpet I decided to take a few days off from working on the car.

Also pretty soon i'm gonna spend like $40-50 to build myself a new sub box that fits in my trunk better.

I'm also thinking about taking the poly inserts out of the rear motor mount. I'm getting tired of the dash and entire car vibrating at idle so much. I think that inserts in the torque mounts should be enough anyway to keep the engine in place.

I have Hasport mounts and my car vibrates like crazy sometimes at a low idle. You should make a DIY if you build a box. I want to build one to save space in my hatch area.

haha, my box won't probably be all that great so a DIY might not be a good idea. I'll leave that to the car audio guys on here. I wasn't planning on tuning it or anything, I just need it to fit in a certain amount of space.

removed the rear mount's poly inserts earlier. Throttle response feels exactly the same as it did with the rear mount inserts... but the car doesn't vibrate bad. lol

I'm excited to see this turbo project move towards completion. Everything with your car looks so good. Which leads me to believe you are gonna build it the right way.

Used some more money made from my for sale thread to order a HAMP oil filter, which will be used with the turbo project.

Used some more for sale thread profit to buy a Golden Eagle intake manifold gasket, which I will use during the head swap.

Damn, man. I still enjoy reading your build thread all the way through just to see the work you've done on it. And with this turbo project, your car will be sexy and fast. Quite awesome. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I talked to a guy who had a Magnaflow cat and it broke up inside after a year or so. He said he got a Random Tech direct fit cat and it's been perfect for 25,000 miles. If I take the cat off and see that it's broken apart, i'm getting a Random Tech one.
