thanks.

i need to hit the front-driver corner of the bay with some black spray paint, and paint the oil dipstick handle black

might degrease the bay tomorrow... then paint that corner soon

black couplers, stainless steel hose for the catch can, and black clamp covers for the ends of the SS hose are on there way here. suppose to be delivered today (except the couplers... different order from separate company). hopefully I ordered the right size hose and clamps! we shall see

do you guys think I should paint the A/C lines in that corner of the bay black too or should I tape them off before painting?

for an example of how it will look, look at the front passenger-side corner of my engine bay

Better pic of my new oil cap

and here's a 5/16" fitting I used to replace the ugly OEM metal tube at this hose behind the valve cover

Got the steel hose, the hose clamps, and the mounting pieces I used to mount the hose to the strut bar

Looks much better than that ugly blue vinyl tubing that came with the catch can

Silly single cam motors lol, just kidding. Looks good. I vote tape off the a/c lines. I always think it looks bad when people paint everything in the bay instead of taking the time to tape it.

Well after i've taken a look there is black paint splattered all over the lines in that area (from whoever had the car painted black) so I might just paint them black.

I say if the splatter is that noticable then yah paint it but if not tape it off...but for sure paint the dipstick handle and u should take ur intake apart and paint those blue joints (idk what theyre called sorry) black...if u can. Thatd help too. Then basically just the spark plug wires left. U were probably already planning that so im just stating the obvious haha but still.

Spark plug wires are staying, they are brand new NGK wires. I think they will look fine blue anyway.
