its christmas break! so its time to start working on the beast again. i just swapped out the jdm d15b head for the z6 head that ive been building over the school year. but having an issue with the timing belt, i think the d15b head is a little taller and i stretched the belt. and i have my own garage now to do bodywork in as well! so once the timing belt is fixed, i can finally finish up the conversion and lower it... im thinking i might have to widebody it a small amount so i can get the car as low as i want it... and should i get a camber kit of leave it with some camber? as long as toe is set, camber wear isnt too noticable.

i know... its a z6 block. it has a z6 timing belt too. it was a d15b vtec head which is similar to the z6 head i believe, but might be a little taller and im thinking it could have stretched the belt.

the thread has been dead for awhile now so i figured i would give you an update. here's what she looks like now... i got the paint picked Blitz black, and i'm taking her to the shop to get the paint done! she should be pretty in a couple weeks. my friend and i are painting and doing the bodywork at his shop.

its held together quite well except for the front end (i let my girl drive it one time and she hit a concrete parking stop) which im gonna redo the bumper to add a lip and widen out the body a little bit so i can go with some wider tires.

Thanks to you I know what my next project will be haha. I want to do Del Sol front end on eg hatch... since a Del Sol is pretty much a hatch with it just cut in half lol. I LOVE th Del Sol front end, do the fog lights tinted yellow, mmmm. I'm inspired lol. Maybe next spring I'll sell my car and start that as a project...
