Hello:

Has anyone used their ECON function? If so, what is the difference between having it on or off. So far I haven't took mine off; wondering if it is beneficial. Mostly doing city driving or driving to south jersey.

 

My daughter's 2012 is on almost all the time, city and hwy. We live in a flat valley. She mentioned being in San Francisco with three passengers recently, and it was sluggish going up some of the steep streets. After turning it off, no problem.

 

The ECON mode helps you improve your fuel economy by adjusting the
performance of the engine, transmission, heating and cooling system/climate
control system, and cruise control.
