I have a '99 Honda civic ex 5 spd. I bought an AEM CAI for it. I really don't know a whole lot about cars, but i would like to put it on myself. The instructions are really good for putting the new intake on, but it doesn't say anything on taking the old off. What all needs to come off in order for me to put the new intake on?

what you could do is look for pictures on the internet on where exactly the screws are on the old intake. But what you really only need is a screw driver (and yes i installed my intake myself) and just need to find where all the screws and crap are to unscrew them and everything from there is easy sailing.

I have a '99 Honda civic ex. The only hting i have done to it is Aem CAI. The next thing i want to get is an exhaust system. I want to get the Skunk2 Mega Power Exhaust System. Would this be a pretty kick *** exhaust ?

but anyway, you need to unbolt the stock air box (two bolt), then your stock tubing, then the air box which is the hardest thing IMO. There is a clamp holding it onto the throttle body which is really hard to get to, but an 8mm socket (i think) will do the trick. Then you take the grommet/IAT sensor and hose off of the stock intake and put grommet into the new intake, plug the sensor in and attach the hose to the new nipple and you should be all set
