i really like deep deep exhaust tones, but i know that when you're on the freeway it can be a nuisance to have a loud exhaust.
i'm going to get either an aem sri or v2, megan header, high flow cat, and then i want a cat-back system. which cat-back do you think i should get if i want it to be really really low and deep, a slight purr at low rpms but really loud at high rpms? (because obviously at a cruising speed when i wanna hear my music im not going to be revvin 5000 rpm)

or are all of them pretty quiet at a low rpm???

 

Most good mufflers/exhausts are fairly tame at lower rpm's. Actually, even when I take my silencer out, my exhaust is almost silent (inside the car anyway) at just above 2k rpm.

If you're too worried about sound, maybe look into a custom exhaust? Something like a nice, big resonator and a twin-loop muffler on 2.25" tubing (or 2.5" if you plan on boosting)?

 

ehhh, no because if im just cruising along without the need for acceleration i shouldnt be going higher than 3k rpm so it shouldnt be annoying right? i mean on the highway i deff wont be going past 2,500rpm so i dont think it'll be a problem. when i want to accelerate at high rpms im going to want to hear it lol.

also, does anyone know where to get 02 sensor eliminators for my 02 lx?
