aem v2 cai
Yeah there's going to be a lot of dissasembly involved. After seeing my friend's V2 installed I thought it would be a 20 minute job. Not so much!
The good thing is, I now have a whole bunch of stuff lined up to do at once: intake, new grille, and maybe a re-attempt at the brake job; so I'll have the whole front end apart at once. Plus I cleaned my garage yesterday so I might actually be able to work in there (and not worry about rain). PLUS it will be labor day weekend, so that's three whole days to get it all done!!
Sorry for the thread-jack

alright first off don't get the V2, big waste of money, the AEM CAI is gonna be just as good, thats what i have and i love it! Secondly i forget who it was but someone said they wanna get a Pacesetter Header... i highly recommend against anything made my Pacesetter its flat out junk, save up a little more and get top of the line DC Sports...sorry to seem like a know it all but when i see the word Pacesetter it just sets me off haha
I've had the AEM V2 for about a year, just a week or so ago the arm that's welded to the intake that bolts into the block to keep it from wobbling all over the place cracked off completly. I'd like to show pictures, but don't have a digital cam-rah. It's a good product, however I do not think that AEM anticipated the amount of movement that the engine is subjected to with hard driving. Also, it's not very loud at all. If you're looking for that classic intake sound, you won't find it on this one. It's more of a deeper rumble.
did any of u guy have a hose left over when u finished?
n did u have to adjust ur rpm
n did ur c.e.l turn on??
Mine's not an automatic though. Post a pic of your install and the so-called extra hoses...
