the part that the air box goes, in the corner between the metal and the back of the headlight..water always builds up there, not alot..but if it rains or somthing you can see it so if your going to put somthing there, it better be water proof

...BTW, ill check my filter tonight and take a pic

Thanks man.. yeah I'll take a look at that, might have to come up with some way to stop that water from coming in. The winters here suck so I've done a few things already to try and combat the water, snow, salt abuse. I'm interested to see how your filter looks, I'm thinking it'll be fine though. In addition to all of this, I've seen people do spider grounds (multiple grounds to different locations)... is this worthwhile?

k...i put a SRI on in the summer. But i use the stock intake in the winter..I have had used this filter for about 11 months now, about 4 months and a little without the air box in winter with a couple weeks this year with LOTS of snow/slush/puddles/rain/salt/mud..you name it
It looks more dirty in the pic from the way the light gets it....but its very clean, intake tube is clean, no problems..and i have my plastic tube facing the ground beside my tranny
...ill always check to make sure its fine, but thats like anything in your car

Why don't you just put a battery in the trunk?
