Airbox?

RE: Airbox?
Not too shabby, thanks for the link. Only thing I think he should have done different is move the ground to a different location considering most people roll with their spare tire in the trunk. I'm sure it's lighter if you take it out and takes up a fair bit of room but puts you in a bad spot if you blow a tire. From my knowledge the ground should be as short as possible from the battery so instead of running it to the spare tire spot because the bolt is available, drilling a spot right beside the battery to bolt to. I also think that line loss might become a problem to the alt although using 1/0 cable is a good idea...the shorter the better.

that box is actually a resonater to create a smoother airflow to the engine do to the normal pulsing suctuion, it also makes it a bit quieter

A LITTLE quieter? My car is [insert adjective] LOUD without the resonator! And I got a 93 EG8, with the D15! Hamsters can make lots of noise without that giant empty box of a resonator.
Also, when you remove it, make sure to plug up that hole with something, or water WILL go up your filter!

RE: Airbox?
Kerok,
I live in Manitoba, I took out the stock intake system, and am running an SRI setup. I've had no problems so far, but I think my next project is a battery relocation. To bad my stock battery crapped out last week and i had to buy a new one
